Why fall is a good time to plan your yard
October is when many Colorado Springs homeowners look at the yard and decide what they want done before winter. Summer use shows you what worked and what did not: the bare patch where the lawn never filled in, the bed with no clear edge, the walk that does not quite meet the grass. Planning now gives us time to talk through the project, put the scope and price in plain terms, and get on the schedule.
If you would rather wait until spring, an early conversation still helps. You will know what the job involves and what it will cost long before you need it done.
What our landscaping work covers
Our landscaping service focuses on the parts of a yard you see every day:
- Sod lawns laid tight and edged cleanly
- Turf for a green yard through the seasons
- River stone and gravel beds with clear lines
- Planting and finishing around stone and concrete
A yard looks finished when the edges are sharp and the materials fit the space. That is the standard we install to, whether the job is a single bed or a full lawn.
Lawns and turf
We lay both sod and turf lawns. Sod gives you a natural lawn, and turf gives you a green yard through the seasons without the same upkeep. Tell us how you use the space, whether that is kids and pets, a quiet front yard or an entertaining area, and we will talk through the options with you.
Rock and gravel beds
Stone beds give a yard crisp lines and a finished look. We build rock and gravel beds with clear edges so they hold their shape against the lawn, the walkway and the house.
Where landscaping meets concrete
Many yards need both trades, and that is why we do both. A patio, slab or walkway sets the shape of the space around it, and the lawn and beds are laid out to meet it neatly. Planning the two together means the edges line up and the finished yard feels like one design. You can read more about our concrete work if a patio or walkway is part of your plan.
How a project works with us
- Share the plan. Tell us what the yard needs and how you use it.
- Get a clear estimate. We put the scope and the cost in plain terms before work starts, so nothing is a surprise.
- Prepare and install. We shape the ground, then lay sod, turf or stone.
- Finish and update. You get one point of contact and regular updates until the job is done.
